Free food scraps (parakai) drop-off by the Mohua Compost Collective, supported by Tasman District Council. Collect food, fruit and vege scraps at home and drop them off here or at the Golden Bay Visitors Centre, 17 Willow St. Yes: dairy and eggs, citrus, meat and fish (no bones), onions. No: oils and liquids, rubbish and tissues, compostable packaging. Make sure the bin is shut tight. Locals can get a free 5L bucket from the Sustainable Living Centre.
